In all cases, safety is paramount.

Facilities - sheltered bay, lifeguard cover, toilets and outside showers, tennis courts, cafes and restaurant and large car park. Popular surfing and swimming beach

1965 - 1975 - Voluntary lifeguard Langland Bay
1966 - one of original Gower long board surfers
1971 - ASA Swimming coaches course
1974 - 1991 - Instructor in Royal Naval Reserves
1978 - Summer Certificate in Mountain Leadership -Plas-y-Brenin
1984 - Founder of Triathletes Swansea - Wales' first Triathlon Club
1986 - Originator and organiser of the long running Excalibur Triathlon event, Port Eynon Bay Gower
1986 -1988 - holder of the Welsh Triathlon Vets (40 plus) title
1989 -1991 Welsh representative of the BTA
1990 - Founder of the Swansea University Triathlon club
1993 - Awarded colours of the Swansea University Athletic Club
1990 - 1993 Coach to Swansea University Triathlon Club
1992 - Attended first ever BTA couaches course 1991-1995 -BTA/WTA Referee
