Coptic Archaeology

A not for Profit organisation concentrating on the history, archaeology, art and architecture and culture of the Coptic Heritage of Egypt.

The Coptic era, or the Early Christian Period in Egypt, is a fascinating and often overlooked period of Egypt’s diverse and complex past.

The premise of the Coptic Research Centre is to promote and encourage interest in this period, and to collate as much research as possible in order to discuss and share with other interested individuals and groups.

In addition, it is proposed the Centre will organise presentations, courses and symposiums concentrating on the diverse subject areas within the field of Coptic Heritage/studies.
